Gokayama and Fukumitsu in Toyama Prefecture

Outcrops were covered completely by a thick snow in the Fukumitsu Area.
The Doyama and Sunagozaka Formations would crop out in this outcrop, but nothing had been seen.

The samples were obtained at a cliff near Takakubo, Fukumitsu town where mudstones and sandy mudstones of the Takakubo Formation cropped out. On the way back to Kanazawa.
